Troipico Sdn Bhd was established in 1940 involving in logistic business. The business has grown since and it has diversified into various industries which includes service industry, holding companies, trading & constructions.
TROPICO was originally established in 1940, by founder Sir Lu Thain Hock ( 1893-1993 ) the first generation of Lu Family in Sarawak. The sole proprietor company was dealing in rice and rubber mill, exporting pepper and smoked rubber sheet to Singapore since 1950.
In view of rapid growth of company in various territories of business, in 1980′s the company was registered to TROPICO SENDIRIAN BERHAD under Malaysian Companies ACT 1965 as Private Limited Company by shares with registered number 74583-M. Later on, more subsidiary companies formed and managed TROPICO Group of Companies. The group companies are lead & managed by second generation, Mr Lu Kwong Ming, brothers and presently assisted by the third generation too. We are specialized in logistics & warehousing services throughout Sarawak.
